NS BlueScope (Thailand) Continues "Drive Safe, See Beyond Blind Spots" Programme to Strengthen Road Safety Awareness

Driving Safer Communities Through Collaboration with Rayong Technical College

On 15 July 2026, NS BlueScope (Thailand) Ltd., in collaboration with Rayong Technical College, conducted the second year of the "Drive Safe, See Beyond Blind Spots" training programme at the Multipurpose Hall, Rayong Technical College, Rayong Province. The programme aims to raise awareness of truck blind spot hazards and promote safer road-sharing among students and members of the local community.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Anuphap Wasasiri, Deputy Director of Academic Affairs, on behalf of Mr. Kittipong Uttamawetin, Director of Rayong Technical College. Representing NS BlueScope (Thailand) Ltd., Mr. Charan Suantai, Deputy Vice President – Manufacturing & Technology, together with the Company's Logistics team, participated in the programme and shared practical road safety knowledge with participants. The initiative reflects the strong partnership between industry and educational institutions in fostering road safety awareness and helping build safer communities.

Through practical demonstrations and hands-on learning activities, participants gained first-hand experience of truck blind spots and a better understanding of the limitations faced by truck drivers. The programme encourages safer road behaviour, helping reduce accident risks and promote a stronger culture of road safety in communities where heavy vehicles operate.
