NS BlueScope Vietnam Welcomes the Vietnam Association of Occupational Safety and Health (VOSHA)

On April 29, NS BlueScope Vietnam welcomed a delegation from the Vietnam Association of Occupational Safety and Health (VOSHA) for a site visit and working session at our factory. The meeting served as a platform for both parties to exchange insights on the practical implementation of Health, Safety, Environment, and Community (HSE&C) management models—core foundations embedded within the company’s sustainable development strategy.

The VOSHA delegation was led by Prof. Dr. Le Van Trinh – President of the Association, alongside Mr. Le Duy Thang – Vice President, and members of the Executive Committee of the Southeast Region Chapter. Representing NS BlueScope Vietnam, Mr. Truong Anh Hai – Vice President of HSE&C, hosted the delegation and chaired the session.

During the highly engaging and technical discussion, both sides focused on key strategic pillars:

1. Pioneering Practices: Sharing NS BlueScope Vietnam’s field experience in maintaining and continuously improving comprehensive occupational safety and health standards across manufacturing sites.

2. Strategic HSE&C Governance: An integrated management framework aligned with the Group’s commitment to sustainability and a people-centric approach.

3. Fostering a Safety Culture: Effective methodologies for driving accountability and embedding a self-driven safety mindset within a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.

The visit further strengthens the relationship between NS BlueScope Vietnam and the Association. Moving forward, both organizations aim to unlock broader collaborative opportunities, particularly in training and advocacy, to collectively elevate occupational safety awareness and industry standards across the business community.
