ASEAN Award Judging Criteria

1. Design Excellence: Demonstrating aesthetics, promoting efficiency, advancing community-building & humanity

2. Innovation: Innovative and creative usage of steel in expressing the design identity, and/or achieve the functionality

3. Sustainability: Demonstrating the design attributes to support energy-saving, water conservation, waste reduction and recycling, and carbon efficiency

ASEAN Award Categories

1. Residential (low-rise building)

2. Commercial (incl. hospitality)

3. Industrial / Non-commercial (incl. logistics)

4. Institutional & Others (incl. airport, metro station, institutional building, infrastructure, etc.)

5. Long Lasting Beauty of COLORBOND® steel (for the building project using COLORBOND® steel completed earlier than the last five years)

There are 2 levels which are Country Award Winners and ASEAN Award Winners

1. Country Award Winners: 1 winning project per category

2. ASEAN Award Winners: 1 winning project per category, selected from the Country Award Winners

Reward and recognition

Country Award: a Country Award Winner in each category will receive.

1. Country Award trophy and certificate

2. Country Award non-cash prize

3. Eligible as the candidates of ASEAN Awards

4. Attend the ASEAN Award ceremony including air ticket and accommodations at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
